I Caught My First Fish!

My first fish was a Sunfish. I was using a worm near the bottom of the lake because all the fish are near the bottom of the lake. The fish are near the bottom of the lake because it is cooler at the bottom because cool is more dense and sinks and heat is less dense and rises. The fish like cool temperatures and I was also fishing near the dock because the sun glares in their eyes. So they stay under the dock so the sun won’t glare. I was fishing with a expert named Mr. Royal.

If you want to fish for sunfish use a nightcrawler which is also known as a earth worm and a slide bober with a wait near the nightcrawler. You might even find nightcrawlers in your backyard.

Tip: Sunfish and bluegill are great beginner fish. If you haven't caught a fish, when a fish is on, you real as you are going down and then lift your pole back up. It's best to fish in the morning or evening when the sun is low and there's lots of shade. If you are fishing at noon, look for some shady deep spots to fish. If you put a full worm you can catch Small and Large mouth Bass, Trout, Catfish and Carp! If you put half a worm you can catch Perch, Bluegill, Rock Bass, Panfish and Sunfish! Before you go fishing look up what fish are in the body of water you are fishing at. Don’t worry, if you cut a worm in half it will still survive just don't hold it in your bare hand for too long.

Warning: On its top fin fish has needles exept for trout!
