A Creek Runs Through It

Please read information before signing permission slips.

 

The Mark West Creek walks are every Wednesday at lunch.  Only eight students on a rotating bases walk to the creek to conduct water quality testing.  A year long permision slip must be on file, and students must bring a "Weekly Creek Walk" slip with a parent signature for the actual days he/she will go to the creek.

 

The bus will leave for the Robert G. Brownlee trip at 5:35 AM and return by 3:00.  Students will need a large snack, lunch and water bottle.  Everyone should be dressed in layers with no shorts.  

 

The Casa Grande High School trip is a half day trip.  However, we will be gone during lunch so students should bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle.  We will leave school around 9:00 and be back at school by 1:30.  

 

The remaining three trips are from 9:00 AM - 3:00PM.  Students need a snack, lunch and water bottle.  Everyone must be dressed for hiking and conducting scientific tests.  Please, no shorts as we will be hiking near poison oak.

 

It is a very good idea to wear protective clothing and sun screen on our adventures!
